Stepping out into a sea of meditation

I am going to start meditating every day. I hear it is beneficial and might help me in my depression and anxiety. In particular my anxiety. I have been listening to a lot of Russell Brand and I appreciate the things he says in regards to all of these negative thoughts I tend to be adrift within.

I am going to give it a shot. I don’t know really where to begin, but I am going to do it.
